All dance remixes are here in this station, so everytime the year changes we easily tune to 89 DMZ to listen to the lively beat and remixes of our favorite song. It's probably like a disco genre with teachno beats and everything to make the night more jolly and loud.

The station’s primary focus was on dance and electronic music—the kind you'd hear in rave parties and underground clubs. It introduced many Filipinos to international dance hits and underground tracks long before they reached the mainstream.

To those who lived through the 89 DMZ era, the name alone brings back a flood of memories—sweaty disco parties, cassette tapes with radio recordings, and boombox battles in school. 89 DMZ wasn’t just radio. It was youth, movement, and freedom.
